Madcap Players is a DC based theatre troupe that emphasizes new works. Our goal is to produce shows that are fun, unique and off-beat. Past productions include The Root of Chaos by Douglas Soderberg, A Devil Inside by David Lindsay-Abaire’s, Pretty Theft by Adam Szmkowicz, Local Story by Kristen Palmer, Constant State of Panic by Patrick Gabridge and the annual 10-minute play festival—Winter Carnival of New Works (last produced in January 2011)—which has drawn entries from hundreds of playwrights each year.
